Alyssa Silveus

Alyssa graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration-Management and an Associate’s Degree in Small Business and General Studies. She joined Tip of the Mitt Watershed Academy in high school and continued her involvement for a few years, where she gained knowledge on local watersheds, pollution, water chemistry, micro/macro-invertebrates, and water quality monitoring. She is excited to be a part of the Montcalm Conservation District, where she can continue growing her knowledge and pursuing her passion for conservation.

Growing up in the Petoskey, Michigan area, Alyssa has always been surrounded by the beauty of nature. She spent most of her childhood outdoors and on Lake Michigan; she has a large collection of Petoskey stones and loves talking about the history/legends of these fossils. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys photography, chasing sunsets and playing basketball.
